Nick Novotny is an associate attorney in Kohnen & Patton’s Business Law and Transactions Practice Group, where he advises both startups and established businesses on a variety of corporate matters.  His practice includes guiding clients through entity formation, corporate structure and governance, real estate and financial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Nick is a 2021 graduate of Ashland University with a B.A., double majoring as an Ashbrook Scholar. He earned his J.D. with a Corporate Concentration from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2024, where he was a member of the Moot Court Team and Executive Vice-President of the Business Law Society.  Additionally at UC Law, Nick was a legal intern for the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic (ECDC).
