Founded in 1990 as a service to Kohnen & Patton LLP’s banking and real estate clients, Tower Land Title Agency, Inc. is Kohnen & Patton’s affiliated title insurance agency, and provides a full range of title insurance products and closing services for commercial real estate and finance transactions in Ohio and Kentucky. To better serve its clients, Tower Title has affiliated itself with, and become an issuing agent for, First American Title Insurance Company.

Tower Title’s licensed agents, Mark J. Zummo and Andrew J. Hogan, are partners in Kohnen & Patton LLP, and combined they have more than 30 years of experience as title agents. In addition, their expertise in other areas of law — including mergers and acquisition, small business, and finance — gives them additional insight into a variety of issues and circumstances that can effect title to commercial real estate.

Tower Title has provided title insurance products and closing services to The Huntington National Bank, Fifth Third Bank, National City Bank and PNC Bank in connection with commercial mortgage transactions and construction loans requiring periodic construction draws and updates. It also regularly assists clients such as Skyline Chili, Inc., Restaurant Management, Inc., Dewey’s Pizza and Bob Sumerel Tire & Service in their real estate acquisitions. Transaction amounts have varied from commercial loans of a few hundred thousand dollars to acquisitions in excess of $10,000,000.00.
