Mr. Haines is a partner in the firm. His practice concentrates in the area of financial institution
representation, including commercial loans, commercial loan workouts, bankruptcies, recoveries, and
litigation defense. He also represents a number of small to middle size closely-held businesses. Mr.
Haines has been practicing law in Cincinnati since 1976, and has been a member of Kohnen &
Patton’s Banking and Finance and Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Groups since 1988.
In his years of practice, Mr. Haines has served as an advisor on the City of Cincinnati’s Small
Business Task Force; as a member of the Hamilton County Republican Finance Committee; as a
member of the Board of Directors of the Southwestern Ohio Regional Transit Authority (Metro);
and on the Fine Arts Fund Committee.
Mr. Haines is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, having received an award
for the highest grade in secured transactions.
