Ms. Kyle is a partner in the Litigation and Insurance Coverage Practice Groups. She practices in the areas of insurance
coverage and bad faith, insurance defense, construction law, appellate practice, professional liability,
tort and contract disputes, and workers compensation.
Ms. Kyle has extensive experience in evaluating and litigating insurance coverage issues involving
personal injury, property damage and UM/UIM claims by first parties and third parties, as well as
insurers’ duties to defend and/or indemnify under homeowners policies, commercial general liability
coverages, builders risk policies, inland marine coverages, auto policies and umbrella/excess policies,
to name a few. Her coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions have provided guidance, for
insureds and insurers, on a wide variety of issues- from the availability of coverage for specific claims
to general issues including self-insured retention, set-off, and allocation issues.
Ms. Kyle is also experienced in defending professional liability claims as well as defending and
prosecuting premises liability, auto accident, construction defect, personal injury, products liability
and contract dispute lawsuits. Finally, Ms. Kyle has an extensive appellate practice, in multiple Ohio
and Kentucky state appellate courts, as well as federal courts.
Ms. Kyle graduated cum laude and with honors in the liberal arts from The Ohio State University.
She graduated cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was a
Student Articles Editor on Law Review. Ms. Kyle authored License, Registration and Your Constitutional
