Mr. Leeper is a partner with Kohnen & Patton in the Business Law and Transactions and the
Banking and Finance Practice Groups. He has practiced business law since 1983, with an emphasis
on corporate finance and business organization, purchase and sale. Mr. Leeper started his practice in
New York City, and he continues to be a member of the New York Bar as well as the Ohio Bar.
Mr. Leeper has participated in a wide range of equity capital raising transactions, including
public and private offerings by corporations, limited liability companies and general and limited
partnerships. He has also been involved in structuring investments and investment vehicles,
including private investment companies. Mr. Leeper’s practice includes representation of both
lenders and borrowers in situations ranging from simple, unsecured loans to multi-tranche, secured
loans involving atypical collateral and equity participation. He also has extensive experience in
assisting clients with organizing, purchasing and selling businesses, having worked on transactions
ranging from the organization or purchase of a small entrepreneurial business to transactions
involving a purchase or sale price of one hundred million dollars or more.
